Shipping Policy

UK Delivery

Spider Food UK currently supplies live feeder insects and cultures within the United Kingdom. Available delivery options and charges are shown at checkout.

Local Collection

Local collection is available by prior arrangement. Collection is strictly by appointment and the exact date and time must be agreed with Spider Food UK in advance.

Please do not arrive for collection without a confirmed appointment.

Once a collection appointment has been agreed, the necessary collection details will be provided directly to the customer.

Dispatch of Live Orders

Live orders are prepared carefully and dispatched as quickly as reasonably possible. Because our products are live, dispatch days may be restricted to reduce the risk of parcels being held in transit over weekends or public holidays.

Orders placed later in the week may therefore be dispatched on the next suitable working day.

Weather Conditions

The welfare of our live insects is important. During unusually hot or cold weather, we may delay dispatch where we believe transport conditions could significantly affect the insects.

If dispatch needs to be postponed for this reason, your order will be sent as soon as suitable conditions allow.

Delivery Times

Delivery times shown at checkout are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Delays can occasionally occur once a parcel has entered the delivery network.

Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Please check your delivery details carefully before placing your order.

Receiving Live Insects

We recommend arranging for someone to receive live orders wherever possible. Once delivered, live insects should not be left for extended periods in direct sunlight, excessive heat, freezing temperatures or other unsuitable conditions.

Please open the parcel promptly and follow any care instructions supplied with your order.

Problems With Delivery

If your order is delayed, damaged in transit or there is a problem with the condition of live insects on arrival, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at spiderfooduk@gmail.com.

Please provide your order number and, where relevant, photographs or a short video of the parcel, packaging and contents.

We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy and your statutory rights.
